“ I love grabbing Tora Tora for lunch! I like dining here solo dolo, and I love their Combo. I got a truffle salmon roll with wasabi mac salad and cheese corn. The salmon belly roll was so good, the truffle flavor was pronounced, and everything was very fresh. Great roll! I loved the mac salad, they put fresh kizami wasabi in it, giving it a nice kick. I also loved their cheese corn, it's just like the Korean version. All in all, the rolls here are always solid. Everything is consistently good, and my coworkers love grabbing lunch here because it's budget-friendly. ”

“ We ordered from Tora Tora through Uber Eats, and it was a nice choice, especially with the BOGO deals available. The gyoza were good, especially when dipped into the miso soup. I haven't dined in yet, but just from picking up the order, the place has a small quaint vibe. There's a big mural on the wall inside that immediately catches your eye and adds some personality to the spot. Seems like a reasonable choice if you're in the area and craving some sushi ”
“ Okay Sushi if you're in mira mesa and looking for something quick. Located in a strip mall next to target. This place is tiny. Just a few tables inside and a few places outside to eat. I'd say its probably a "to go" type restaurant. Easy to park. Food itself is reasonable but not amazing. We ordered the edamame, crunchy roll, lemon garlic, tuna and salmon. The fish was reasonably fresh. The lemon garlic was a bit too lemon sauce and had a weird taste. The Salmon and tuna were good. Overall, its an okay sushi place. Not my favorite but reasonable if youre in the area. ”
“ Small, quaint sushi stop for a quick lunch. I've been meaning to come to this spot for a while, and I'm so glad I did. Staff were extremely kind and friendly, also helped to provide the best recommendations for rolls. We ordered the sushi bake roll, spam musubi, garlic edamame, yuzu lemonade (not pictured) and peppered tuna roll. All were delicious. The garlic edamame feels like a much bigger portion than most other places, the balance of fish to rice is on point, and the yuzu lemonade absolutely stole the show for me. ”
“ Overall, this was a solid spot. I would say the sushi quality is about average and prices are great. It was about 60 bucks for miso soup, house salad, and 4 rolls. My favorite rolls were the lemon cilantro and the salmon belly. Miso soup could have been served hotter. The salad was a generous portion and I enjoyed the dressing. You order at the counter and your food is brought out to you. It's a small spot. There a few tables and a bar/high top against the wall. If you want really high quality/excellent sushi and don't mind spending on it, this isn't your spot. If you want a casual decent sushi spot that doesn't break the bank, I would say this meets that. ”
“ Great sushi for take out between errands to the Target and Goodwill donation center next door. I made my order in person at the counter, went to target for 15 min and the order was ready by the time i returned. Short wait is key! Nice and fresh, and the rolls aren't gargantuan like some do with their special rolls. They're made just right. We also got the karrage, could do without the curry sauce it came with. Will definitely keep this in my rotation for quick pick ups when I'm in the Mira Mesa area. ”
“ Wasn't expecting much but the sushi was truly delicious! 10/10 recommend the Salmon Belly Truffle Roll. Space is small but has enough for seating if it doesn't get packed. This spot is shared in the same plaza as Target, 85 Degree Bakery and more. Right next to Bobalicious. There's a beautiful mural right as you come in! They gave complimentary sorbet ice cream & fortune cookie! I would definitely come back :) ”
